Why Should I Filter My Water? It's Simple.
We chlorinate our water across nearly every water system to disinfect and kill bacteria such as e.coli (definitely don’t want that) but that chlorine shouldn’t be there when we drink (not to mention the grim chemical smell).
- The chemical smell of chlorine can be immediately worrying for drinkers and the effects of overexposure are equally scary; vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach issues.
- Chlorine is an obvious issue smelt and tasted by millions. But the other dangers are more hidden.
- Microplastics are an emerging threat. Their presence has gone beyond the tap and they are now being found in human blood. They’ve already been linked to immune system dysfunction, cytotoxicity and cancer.
- Lead piping is still present in an estimated 25% of homes, despite it being illegal. The dangers of lead include brain damage, kidney damage and nervous system damage.
- UK water being ‘amazing’ is a myth. There are countless contaminants, pollutants and nasties swirling around in your water. This is just the surface.

I love the water filter No. 2 - but we had to get a plumber out to fit it as we did when we got water filter No. 1. But now it's fitted we are loving it.
excellent at softening shower water
👍👌
Easy fitting !
Forget it’s under the sink, but water tastes so much better and no limescale issues
Easy install and seems to work well at the moment.
Easy to change new filter and new casing
It’s does what it says on the box. I was sceptical but thought after deliberating, to give it a go. I am very pleased we did. The difference in the taste of the water is immediate and to be honest, a huge relief. The showerhead is good as well, just wish you could alter the angle perhaps a little more but again, does make a difference. I understand that the filters have to be changed yearly so providing they are not too expensive, the whole thing is brilliant. Easy to install, clean and sharp and small to house!
Another year of clean drinking water👌 easy to replace the old one and we appreciate the discount on purchasing the new one! Another year of having confidence that my family ‘s drinking water is safe! Thank you ❤️
