A 2021 research paper by scientists in the European Union unveiled that over 6,500 bladder cancer cases in the EU can be attributed to the high levels of trihalomethanes present in tap water, amounting to 20% of total EU cases. Bladder cancer has a mortality rate of over 50%. (As reported by the corresponding peer review attached)

Microplastics
Microplastics are being found in human blood. Water2 is combatting microplastics by being able to filter 99.99%* of them.
So, how does it work?
- Your tap water flows in via the push-fit inlet.
- This water flows down towards the bottom of the Pod 2.0, where the pressure forces the water through our high-grade activated carbon.
- Here, the pores are extremely small which filters 99.99%* of microplastics.
- The filtered water is now pushed to the top of the Pod 2.0, allowing it to reconnect to the cold inlet and flow through your tap.
What Does the Water2 Pod Filter?
Our industry-leading performance results collated from various tests. Note that Pod is about balancing the preservation of good minerals with the filtration of contaminants.

of Fluoride with the Fluoride Filter
The Pod 2.0’s stated reduction performance is based on controlled laboratory testing. Actual performance may vary due to factors such as water quality, flow rate, and individual usage conditions.

of PFAS (PFOA & PFOS) with the Fluoride Filter
Based on third-party laboratory testing under controlled conditions. Results may vary depending on water quality, flow rate, and usage. The results reflect reduction of specific PFAS compounds, namely PFOA and PFOS, which are widely used as reference compounds in filtration testing due to their prevalence and persistence.

Based on third-party laboratory testing under controlled conditions. Results may vary depending on water quality, flow rate, and usage. Atrazine is commonly used as a marker compound for pesticide reduction, as it is one of the most widely used and studied herbicides globally. Its presence is often used as an indicator of broader pesticide contamination, making it a representative compound for testing.
